Anthony Blackburn, with Keller Williams in Columbia, seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to helping out of towners find the best home for them. I’m still not sure how he did it, but the very first house he opened up for us was the one we ended up buying. He showed us a ton of properties but it was like somehow he knew this was the one. Never pushy, a Southern native, knowledgeable about many different kinds of property, friendly, honest and hardworking (one time we asked if we could stop and get lunch and he told us he never eats on the job:), Anthony truly made the home buying experience shockingly easy, even from the other side of the country! I can’t count the number of times my husband wanted Anthony to FaceTime him from the house we were buying, answer a question, give us some input, etc. even after we moved in! And you know what’s crazy? He didn’t just do this for us! He found TWO of our other friends their dream homes from across the country as well and he did the same for my sis in law’s family!

Our loan consultant, Shane Huffman, made our lives about 500 times easier by giving us straightforward information from the get go. No hidden surprises, no bait and switch, just fair and honest loan help from the very beginning. He even went above and beyond the role of a loan consultant and answered some questions we had about which area of Tennessee we should consider since we have active kids who want to participate in sports, etc. His advice helped us narrow in on the why behind our choice moving to a particular area. His honesty and prompt responses to our questions eased many of our fears and helped us to quickly get the ball rolling.

Without these two wonderful gentlemen, I’m not convinced we would even be in Tennessee right now. God truly put them in our path for a reason. And you know what’s so neat in the South? They’ve become our friends! There is so much genuine caring and respect for the client that it manifests itself in a ton of patience, honesty and a desire to keep in touch. It truly was a remarkable experience buying a home in the South.
